Books written by Pierre Deligne.
Deligne received the Abel Prize in 2013 for seminal contributions to algebraic geometry and for his transformative impact on number theory, representation theory, and related fields. He received the Fields Medal in 1978 for "Giving the solution of the three Weil conjectures concerning generalizations of the Riemann hypothesis to finite fields. His work did much to unify algebraic geometry and algebraic number theory."
Quantum Fields and Strings: A Course for Mathematicians, Vol. 1
In 1996-97 the Institute for Advanced Study organized a special year-long program designed to teach mathematicians the basic physical ideas which underlie the mathematical applications. These volumes are a written record of the program.

Commensurabilities among Lattices in PU (1,n)
The first part of this monograph is devoted to a characterization of hypergeometric-like functions, that is, twists of hypergeometric functions in n-variables.
